Wat ben ik blij dat ik deze serie tegengekomen ben!
Het lijkt steeds moeilijker voor mij te worden om iets te vinden wat mij boeit en mijn aandacht vast kan houden en deze auteur is daar zeker in geslaagd.
Het verhaal is boeiend, origineel, spannend en super, super sexy.
Eindelijk ‘verscheuren’ Braxton en Jessa hun vriendschaps ‘contract’ en hun samenkomst is explosief (wat kan je anders verwachten van een dragon en een werewolf), erotisch maar ook verschrikkelijk romantisch.
In Braxton heb ik een nieuwe book-boyfriend gevonden want man, niks is sexyer dan een macho man die zijn gevoelens open en bloot legt.
Maar hun relatie is gecompliceerd.
Niet door hun eigen toedoen, nee, het lot speelt een akelig spelletje met ze.
En ondertussen komt dat waar iedere supernatural bang voor is steeds dichterbij en wordt Jessa door een familielid steeds verder in een hoekje gedrukt waar ze helemaal niet wil zijn.
Het einde is een gigantische cliffhanger en ik vond het geweldig om het laatste hoofdstuk vanuit de pov van Braxton te lezen.
Ik hoop dat we in het volgende boek meer pov’s van hem krijgen!
